Romantic Valentine's Day Makeup

This is number 3 of my Valentine's day looks and I saved the best for last! It is a romantic look that is very classic. I love how glamorous I feel! I would have to say that this look was probably the most simple to create because it was all in one palette. I used Lauren Luke's Smokey Classics makeup palette.
♥ Eyeshadow: Twilight ash and antique pewter
♥ Blush: peach glow
♥Lips: Cranberry stain

Things used not in palette:
♥ MAC Fluidline in blacktrack
♥ MAC Lashes #20
♥ Buxom Mascara
Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
Enjoy!

Conversation Heart Inspired Nails!

I know I know I'm going Valentine's Day crazy! But I am in such a festive mood with this year. Valentine's day is about expressing love and affection, so why not look cute while your doing it? (no pun intended hehe)

These nails were inspired by the candy conversation hearts. The products I used were:
♥ Essie Nail Polish in Lovie Dovie
♥ Sally Hansen black Nail Polish Pen
*** Hold the pen very steady and pressing too hard can ruin the nail polish already on your nails.
Enjoy!

Long Time No Blog...

Well I dropped the ball on blogging regularly even after I went to bloggy boot camp in November. This sounds like a lame excuse but I blame my absence on the holidays. School is going great! I love everything about it. I have been "on the floor" as its called at school since the end of October. "On the floor" just means I work on actual guests. I found out that the makeup artistry class is scheduled for May. I am beyond ecstatic! I feel like I almost forgot that makeup was the whole reason I went to school and started blogging in the first place. I have been working on some Valentine's Day makeup looks so stayed tuned!

Eyelash Extension Certification

Today I was certified in applying eyelash extensions! Although it is not apart of the Aveda cosmotology curriculum, it was organized by some of my instructors for a company to come teach us. It was so much fun! It takes awhile to apply them but it's totally worth it! They look so good you dont really need to wear mascara but you can. I have to thank my friend sam for applying mine, I love them thanks Sam! I now have the knowledge and supplies to perform this service so if anyone I interested feel free to contact me!

Brown Fall Makeup

I feel so glamorous with this look. I love fall because that means the rich browns and dark purples are in. This is one look I can always use if I'm stuck on what kind of makeup I should that day. This look is really simple, the products I used were:
-Too Faced Shadow Insurance
-NYX Jumbo Eye pencil in milk
-Too faced eyeshadow in glamourzon
-MAC Eyeshadow in sable
-Too faced eyeshadow in sugarcookie
-Loreal carbon black liner intense
-Too faced lash injection mascara
*** I also have false lashes on the outer corners of my eyes. This is totally optional. The look is still gorgeous without them.

Step 1: Put eyeshadow insurance all over the eye area. Then put the NYX pencil all over the lid, use your finger spread it evenly. Its okay if you go slightly above the crease.
Step 2: Apply glamourzon to the inner half of the eye lid then apply sable to the outer corner. Use a small brush to apply sable to the outer corner of the lower lashline.
Step 3: Apply loreal eyeliner close to the top lashline. Then apply mascara.
